Ive heard various theories claiming that working out in the morning sees you get better results. Is this true? What time do you guys workout? have you noticed a difference in morning/evening workouts? Personally I seem to be a bit more lethargic in the mornings so dont get as much done.
To address the actual question here...I don't think it matters when you workout. I would advise not to do it RIGHT before bed because your metabolism will go from very high to very low very quickly and that isn't what you want.
I always do my workouts in the morning. Im not sure if its proven either way if its better to do them in the morning or evening - I think its more down to the individual. I find though that having my workout early on leaves me fresh and alert for the rest of the day, where as if I worked out in the evening I am usually allready a bit tired from working all day.
I always work out before work in the mornings. Up at 6am - at the gym by 7am , finished and showered by 8.30 am and at work by 9am. No better way to start the day!
I always work out in the evenings - mainly because I am so NOT a morning person Im sure I read in a fitness magazine though that it is scientifically proven that you perform better in the mornings - therefore your workouts would be mroe effective!
I hear that morning time is the best time to go. I usually work out in the afternoon after I've had a snack or a small lunch. Sometimes I work out before then eat after. I'm not too sure which one is better to do though. Any ideas?
