Default strength training towards mma

Im training mma at college but dont have anywhere around here to train when im home for break.

anyone got any good workout routines to strength train for mma. i know benching and bicep curls make you look great but arent the most functional workouts.

I'm just learning new routines as well. I found out that I can't do cardio and weight train in the same day, because I have no juice to really lift. Let's compare notes hit me back.

Coming from a bodybuilding background, having big biceps will be of no avail in mixed martial arts. Its one lesson I learned the hard way. Legs, shoulders, forearms, triceps and core exercises should be the most important aspects of your strength training program as these are the muscles you use when fighting. You should also incorporate bodyweight exercises as it will develop tremendous core strength and endurance as well.
