Default Tips? Ideas? Secrets?

Anyone have any useful tips, or secrets? I'm going to start being more healthy and I think it would be useful to have some of these things known so I don't hurt myself during the process. Thanks!

Eat right, sleep early, wake up early, exercise. Common sense, really. Just don't over do it.

I hate waking up early. It's the worst. I can never do it. That's why I always work out in the late afternoon and go for a run at night.

I know this sounds extreme but run in the morning on an empty stomach. You burn nothing but fat and you burn extra calories all throughout the day.

Running really whipped me into shape after having my daughter. I wanted to loose pounds quickly and safely before starting my training in kung fu. I ate 5-6 small meals a day and ran two miles twice a day. In two months I was ready. I don't run anymore, I walk now, barefoot. I also get a great workout training.
