Many people think that if you do not eat you will lose weight. This is very wrong,
this will stunt your metabolism and make losing weight even harder. You need to eat healty and eat less and combine that with working out.
Yeah, by not eating your body starts to conserve everything it can. It goes back to basic human nature - it doesnt know when your next meal is going to come so slows your metabolism down to help you survive.
I never knew this. Maybe thats why its very difficult for some people to lose weight. I know a lot of people who only eat one meal a day, and I guess it effects their metabolism to the point where they can't digest and lose weight.
Not eating is one of the unhealthiest things you can do, first of all you'll eventually destroy your own body if you don't eat for a big amount of time and second of all losing weight this way is the wrong way. The best way to lose weight is eating healthy and combine this with a daily workout.
Yes. Not eating is not the way to lose weight correctly. To lose weight, still eat. But eat light. Not light like a cookie per day, but eat more salads, fish, chicken (not fried). Cut down on the beef, pork, etc.
This is the mistake of a lot of people. Wahpah is right. Eat lighter, not less. Fish is definitely good. Stay away from fried food. And keep working out.
I honestly don't understand how people could think that not eating would ever be good for you. Thin does not always equal healthy!! Yeah, you eventually will lose weight, but it won't be just fat -- it will be muscle, and eventually organ tissue as well. I wonder why people seem to think that once their bodies obliterate the fat, other tissue won't deteriorate. It's as if they think fat is the only thing that feeds their bodies.
Gain muscle. It helps you burn more fat even when you're not doing anything. It makes being fit very lopsided because the muscular guy will burn more fat than the guy who has none and has lots of fat.
