Default Consistent Meals

The most important aspect of eating when you're trying to add mass is obviously to EAT AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE! The problem here is that you DO NOT want 2 HUGE meals a day...you wan't 6-8 adequate meals a day. You have to keep your metabolism up while still getting the substance required. This will allow you to have the energy AND the mass to put the weight on.

Just want to add that its important that you eat quality food as well. What I mean is eat healthily - just because you have to eat as much as you can doesnt give you an exscuse to eat junk food as part of your training

Quality is usually greater than Quantity. Look at America's overweight population, thats quantity for you. Make sure you meet the quality of your food first.

I've developed a nasty habit of constantly eating. It just started out with boredom. But now, I'm constantly hungry and I'd just grab a quick bite whenever I feel like it.

That's a bummer. I eat pretty much two meals a day, lunch and dinner. Unless I accidentally wake up early. Then I have some breakfast.

Consistent Meals are one of the hardest issues I find to deal with.

I'm naturally inclined to eat irregulariyl, so I't hard to get myself into a routine.

Though this is one of the more "basic" things, I have a lot of problems following it. I try to eat about five meals a day, but I find that my appetite gets the better of me, and I usually eat 2-3 meals a day.

I do this.

I eat five meals a day. In the morning, I try to eat a bowl of cereal, followed by a serving of fruit.

Then, between lunch and breakfast, I'll eat a small bagel - or a small sandwhich. At lunch, a decent chicken or salmon salad will do. Then, after that, some yogurt or a protein bar will work...and finally for dinner, a small serving of pasta or something.

It sounds hard because everyone loves food - but if you eat consistently throughout the day, you won't be as hungry and crave as much food as usual.

Its true. 5 smaller meals a day works much better than 2 or 3 meals.
