Too be honest their isnt really a quick way to tone up, if you want a good body you have to work for it. You are on the right path with eating correctly and regular exercise. Maybe try doing a set amount of sit up and press ups on a morning and a night, also when you dont have the time to go to the gym find something with abit of weight that you can hold and do reps with that. There are many things you can find around the house in which you can work out with.

Thanks. I do need to be doing something the morning to. Right now I only train in the evens. I normally just wake up and get to work. I think if I improved my sleeping habits might help as well.

To get tone you really need to get to a gym...sit ups and push ups are GREAT...but they only work certain areas. At the gym make sure you are doing LIGHT weights and high number of sets and reps. I have been doing 5 sets of 20-30 with any given lift. Also, YOU SHOULD BE SORE the day after. If you aren't sore, you aren't doing enough reps.

A good way to add some tone is to combine a weights programme and a cardio programme. Doing this means you wont lose any of the muscle mass you have but you will start chipping away at any fat you may have covering up this muscle.

Yeah, i think this might be a rumor but i heard that fat can convert into muscle pretty easily? or it might be the opposite way around.

I tend to do about 30/30 reps for each arm with a 15 pound weight, doesn't sound like much, but I'm not exactly the kind of person who does it daily so it seems to be enough for me, I can push myself to 40/40 if I feel up to it however. Pushup and situps help me if done correctly, usually with the knees in the air and twisting your body helps the sides and buttocks.

pushups and situps are very good to improve your muscular areas but the problem with these are that they don't exercise all of your muscles.

A lot of times running and eating healthy will do it. If you want to bulk up and get some muscles then start lifting. But you need to make sure that you are in shape first of all, and that you have the health and ability to do it.

Just eat right, excercise daily, and you should be fine. Don't try to tone up too quickly because more times then not, it can be very unhealthy and sometimes even dangerous, especially if you don't know what you're doing.
