Default What foods for a meal plan?

Looking for a little help from everyone.
I need a list of foods that you all eat or like to eat that if you had to write yourself a meal plan you would include. If you know the nutritional facts of GI that’s awesome but if not its ok I’ll find it.

So you guys tell me what food exactly you would like to have on a meal plan.

Thanks.

I don't really know nutritional information, but here's some good stuff I like:

Protein: fish, chicken, turkey, lean beef
Veggies/Legumes: broccoli, spinach, black beans
Fruit: bananas
Bread: whole wheat bread

I weighed 282 at one point . I changed my life by these rules nothing fried, no white bread , eat whole grains, no carbonated drinks, eat 5 times a day , but don't eat more than the size of your fist. Also eat at least 3hours before you sleep. I ate red meat for the first 6 months , then I quit eating red meat for over a year. Its my opinion that you feel better without it, but I now eat red meat

Interesting stuff. I had never heard of eating 5 smaller meals a day instead of 3. I will have to give this a shot. What about if someone has a really big hand though? lol jk

Seriously, I am in need of a better diet for sure. That is probably my biggest downfall when it comes to geting in better shape. So any help from member's who know this stuff is great.

Thanks

Yea right Jason...I seriously doubt you haven't heard that 5-6 meals a day is good for you. But this IS true! Depending on what your point of the diet is, your C/P/F (Carb/Protein/Fat) breakdown varies. generally you want to maintain 55/35/15 to grow - as a general rule - but everyones body IS different - but it is a good rule of thumb.

Just a hint, but type in Meal Planner, or Calorie Counter in google - there are quite a few good meal planners that are free on the net to count calories. I found it good, as I was wanting to cut 500 a day - the one I used was perfect for the job as after each meal I plugged exactly what I ate into it giving me an instant count of intake.

Good Luck.

I know, I have probably have heard it somewhere in life, but never gave it much thought untill now I guess. I was never very health conscious untill the last couple years when I realized that working out and sparring doesn't mean much if you eat shit all the time. lol

Anyway, thanks for the advice sir.
