Silva vs. Henderson

This is a fight i have been waiting to see for a long time. Anderson Silva has had an amazing year but i dont think he can beat Dan Henderson. Henderson is an amzing fighter and is tough as hell.

I dont think anyone in the UFC mw division can beat Dan Henderson.

Yeah I tend to agree. If anyone is build to beat A. Silva, its Dan Henderson. Not only is his boxing good, but he has a head made out of granite. Combine that with his superior wrestling and Anderson's not-so-great takedown defense, I can see Dan pounding out a ref stoppage, or at least a decision.

Hendo by KO first round. Much better all around fighter, and has more dimentions to his game.

Yeah I think Dan Hendersons wrestling and experience is to much for anyone in the ufc MW division. IMO Anderson is in trouble in this fight, I dont see Henderson sitting there waiting to get knocked out. He is going to push the pace from start to finish and wear Silva down with his takedowns and heavy hands. I just don't see Anderson submitting him or knocking him out. He will be on his back for most of the fight and will not be able to utilize his striking.

i think this is going to be one of the best fight in the history of mma. these guys are really top ten best athletes in the sport.. that being said i really dont have a pick. i think either guys have the potential to knock one another out (most likely in second)... but for the most part this will either display anderson's submission game or dans relentless gnp. i for one dont care who wins, although i do have to say that in the MW division dan henderson is the only person who will beat silva

well silva has beens on a strong run and has yet have a challenage, hendo will put him to the test. i think both can when this fight. hendo is stronger , but silva can knock him out. but as always i'll let the fight pick the victor

is dan really that good. i saw his 2 fights in the first mw gp, and his fight against arn in the lhw gp.in the mw gp he looked good but not that good.

You don't win a UFC Tournament, Pride GP, Pride WW title (Which Anderson didn't get close to, although he does look a lot better now days and a Pride MW title against Wanderlei Silva in brutal fashion. Then loses a razor close decision to someone who is about 15-20 pounds heavier than him and #1 in the UFC right now.

Not to mention Hendo's base is a wrestler, Andersons biggest weakness. Iron chin, nasty power in both hands, good submission defense and more than likely a perfect game plan. This is a throw up for me, I've no idea who'se going to win despite just sounding like I love Henderson

Everything you just named off right there Jamie is the reason Hendo is going to win. His great chin, great submission defence, and wrestling will enable him to take it to Anderson Silva. It's kind of hard to prepare for a fighter thats almost impossible to knock out or submit, and with such good wrestling especially being able to use it in the octagon.
