you guys are all pretty quick to jump on someones perdictions and state that fighters will not win fights because they are not known for striking, or not known for bjj. but in mma now everyone is training everything and i feel a lot of ufc fighters are trying to win fights by doing things they are not known for. look at gonzaga vs. cro cop, if i would have posted on here that gonzaga would knock out cro cop with a head kick you all would have called me fucking crazy !!!!! ( although i never thought in a million years that would happen ) but my point i'm trying to make is that, not every fight goes down the way it should.

First wouldn't you think it would be to predict that the fight would end this way? Thats a bad example. The world would think you were crazy, not just us.
This is why its a forum, Im inviting you to back up why you think Frankie would want to keep in on the feet with Fisher? Im open for your detailed explanation? You said you think that will be his strategy to win and I asked you why you think a wrestler, wants to keep it standing with a striker? Not trying to bash you

Jens is in the WEC in the 145 division and probably won't be coming back to the ufc. They are also training partners so its very unlikley to see them in the cage together.

that is definetely an odd match up, but still i think fisher would finish him. fisher is simply bigger, stronger, possibly faster, and younger. this is kind of off anyway after fisher's fight with stout i see him standing with really almost anyone in his division. i could see him being in some wars with guillard, sherk, huerta, frankie edgar

you want my explanation, well here it is. I DON'T UNDERSTAND THE UFC ANYMORE !!!! that's all i can say. everything i expect to happen never does, and seems like the opposite happens. so from now on i am going to make wild perdictions then maybe it will happen the way i perdicted. i know what i have said doesn't seem logical, but as we all know, the last 6 months in the ufc has been anything but logical. now i understand that what you are saying is most likely true, but at the same time i have decided that i'm not going to go with how the fight looks on paper, i'm going to go with the total opposite sometimes. this being said that doesn't mean i would bet the bank on it, but i'm just putting the perdiction out there just to see what happens.

So your saying your just going to pick random fighters for the hell of it?
If you just want to throw wild predictions out thats fine i dont care. I was just asking you why you think that a wrestler would want to stand with a world class striker? Cuz i dont see that happening in a million years.

i'm just saying i didn't think in a million years that matt serra would beat gsp, let alone knock him out. or same goes for cro cop vs. gonzaga or forrest vs. shogun or cro cop vs. kongo or liddell vs. jardine or any of the other major upsets that have happened in the last year or so. so if all these upsets can happen, i'm just saying that a wrestler could out strike the striker or vice versa. i know chances are this won't be what happens but it could. with all ufc fighters training in all aspects of the fight game, strange things happen. if frankie tried to keep the fight standing, and just controled fisher with the clinch and used randy style dirty boxing and not take it right to the mat, i think it would surprise fisher, who would be thinking about the take down the whole time. and would be thrown off his own game plan, and wouldn't be ready to defend against it.
