Default Brock Lesnar vs "The Insane One"

Justin McCully approached about Brock Lesnar fight at UFC blog for UFC news, results, videos, rumors, fights, pics and tickets — MMAmania.com

Possibly Lesnar's next matchup, Justin McCully. I think its kind of odd that they keep giving Lesnar BJJ guys, but oh well. I think sub-defense is going to be a top priority for Brock, and while both McCully and Mir are both blackbelts, I don't think McCully is anywhere near as good as Mir. Combine that and I see Brock winning in the first round via head-smashage.

This seems like a fight to build up his confidence, though Mcully is a blackbelt so its confusing. But if he is able to take Mcully down and defend the submission then he proves to himself amd fans that he can defend the sub. and his confidence goes up. But if he doesn't finish him fast, then hes going to have to go three rounds defending the sub. which could be trouble.

I don't foresee brock giving up a leg again and choking him out with that neck will prove damn impossible. Ditto an arm, he'll muscle outta most sub attempts by people not named Nogueira.

Mcully's BJJ game is wank from what i've seen (No disrespect).

Antoni Hardonk caught him in an armbar and if he had any knowledge of BJJ (Which is surprising as he trains with Rickson) he'd have taken Mcully's arm home with him. Justins only potential way of victory imo is either a real lucky knockout or somehow putting Brock on his back and laying on him for 3 rounds which I doubt will happen.

Think that they might want a bigger name to fight Lesnar and someone he matches up well against. He will probably face a good wrestler or striker, doubt DANA will chance another sub loss and ruin Lesnar before he can make more money off of him.

Yeah i mean i guess there is always that possibility that Lesnar could be subbed. But in any fight theres always that possibility unless your very good on the ground. I think By June Lesnar will be prepared to defend anything against decent submission fighters, but when talking about defending a sub verse a guy like werdum or Nogueira, you need to be careful regardless of how long you've been in the sport for.

exactly he will be far more prepared he will have been training a little longer and also willl be very hungry to come back from a los and in the Mir fight he was dominant then got caught whether that was Mir's plan i have no idea but working on his ground game and then coming back better than ever is what i think he will do
