The gym I go to is strictly Muay Thai. The best thing for you to do in order to get ready for MT training is to run. If you have a heavy bag I recommend doing punches and kicks to it but only for cardio because how ever you kick or punch will probably be refined through your training and you don't want to have to unlearn an improper kick that you've thrown hundreds of times. Get use to 3-5 minute rounds of punching the heavy bag and then rest 1 min inbetween. But most importantly run around 2-5 miles a day if you ever plan on fighting. I'm a huge believer that the #1 thing that decides who wins and who looses in a fight is who is tired and who isn't. push ups/pull ups and sit ups do about 100 a day (40 pull ups a day)
