Joe Doerksen
Just met him for the first time tonight, was pretty funny actually, I had no clue he was signed to the IFL, and I asked him when his last fight was, he responded by saying " I just fought last night, 3 minutes by choke".
Then I felt dumb.
I didn't know he was signed by IFL, and apparently his contract is up in a few months. Anyone have any comment?
He has a good record, but what are your thoughts he's 40-10-3 i think, 4 times the wins anyways to losses. He says he may stay there, I brought up WFA, thoughts?

Doerksen is one of those great fighters with alot of fights but not alot of publicity. His losses have been to fighters like, Hughes, Lindland, Loiseau, Riggs and Marquardt all of who were at one time ranked fighters.
I for one really like humble fighters and Doersen is deffinetl that. I alos believe that he helps train at MFS, sothat alone tells you he's no joke.

Haha, I agree, I don't think he has a single TKO or KO. It was funny to see him double fisting all night long though...

Whats the name of the organization where you meet all these fighters at?
I know he has at least 2 (t)ko victories, but yeah he's mainly a jiu jitsu fighter so most of his victories are submissions.

Joe's hometown is 45 minutes from where I live, I believe he's living here now though to train, but I am not 100%.
He just got back from Oregon yesterday, so he was at the bar partying it up, a friend of mine knows him well, I've just never met him before.
Bas and Dan Severn I met through 2 different organizations, but I know the promoters pushing the events usually that come through town, so I get the inside scoop. In April it's GSP, that'll be cool to get a pic.
