Default Igor Vovchanchyn
Does anyone know what happened to Igor. I was watching some of my earlier Pride DVD's and i started thinking. What the christ happened to Igor? I know his last fight in Pride was against Nakamura but has he fought since, does anybody know?

I for one really liked the guy.

He hasn't had one fight since then. That was over a year ago. I hope he hasn't left the sport for good. I am a big Igor fan also and would love to see him drop to 185 and take a run for the UFC Middleweight title.

I would like to see him come back, but in my opinion Igor would be better fit for LHW. Either way Igor in the UFC would be awesome, but if he fights again i see it being in K-1. The UFC never really signs older fighters.

Igor vs. Bas. That fight would kick ass.

Igor to 185... I don't see it happening Igor is one of the biggest light heavyweights I have ever seen. Absolutely massive.

All I could figure out was that Vovchanchyn was contacted by Cage Rage about 3 times. Once was for a possible fight against Vitor Belfort. He turned all the offers down...

Don't know anything else...

Hmm, I have always thought the exact opposite. Especially when he fought Overeem. He looked small for a LHW to me.

Like Robert said, either way I would love to see him in the UFC's MW or LHW. There are some great matchups they could put him in.

Default Whats happened to vovchanchyn?
He hasnt fought once this year? I know he's coming off two losses in Pride, but im really suprised that he hasnt been on any of the Pride cards this year, or any other card in that matter.

Perhaps he's taking a well deserved break or something? does anyone know if he's injured or whats happened to him?

I myself have been wondering that same thing for awhile now. I loved watching Igor fight and he another one of those fighters that are extremly hmble and gets respect from most everyone.

But to answer your question i have no idea.
