Default Fedors only loss

I have heard for a long time that his loss was bullshit but i ahd never seen it. It happened in Rings and he got cut by an elbow, which you arent allowed to throw in that organization. that fight should have been called a no contest.

Here's the clip.

He was cut by an elbow, but from my point of view, it's like Kohsaka missed a jab, and apparently hit Fedor with an elbow. It didn't look intentional, I don't think.

Should still be a no contest. Shouldn't it?

Pretty sad fight for the fans. Sad way to lose. If a fight is stopped because of a cut in the UFC the guy with the cut loses, right? Must be the same there.

Agreed. The fact is that TK did not win that fight and Fedor is really undefeated. I think it's wrong that his record makes him look like he lost when he didn't. IMHO

True, but in the Rings organization where they were fighting Elbows are an illegal technique, just like kick to the groin. If a fighter takes a shot to the groin and cant continue its ruled "no contest". Why owuldnt this be???

it looked an accident. I mean look at it this way... when coleman took shogun down, only because shogun put his arm out it broke.. the ref stopped it ruleing it a TKO.... yet all coleman did was take him down.. people might of thought.. well coleman did nothing to win that fight maybe it should be classed as no contest?. By the looks of things Kohsaka threw a jab and accidently caught him with the elbow, because he threw the jab they just ruled it as a cut. Otherwise if it appeared that Kohsaka intensionally threw the elbow then they probably would of ruled it as no contest...

does that make sence cos i kinda got tongue twisted......... with my fingers lol

That's what I was trying to say, but he said it better. Sherdog claimed it was intentionally done, and anytime you say it was an actual loss, they say you need to brush up on your MMA. Basically, I'm glad you posted this, because it's really obvious it wasn't done intentionally.

I know it wasnt intentional, but ive seen fights called no contests because of unintentional groin kicks. I just see it as the same thing.
