These are the fighter salaries that were reported by the WEC to the Nevada State Athletic Commission for WEC on Versus: Urijah Faber vs. Jeff Curran on Wednesday, December 12.

Winners received a win bonus the equivalent of their guaranteed pay. For example, if Curran had defeated Faber, Curran would have received $20,000. The exception was PRIDE refugee Paulo Filho, who earned $38,000 plus a win bonus of $18,000.

i am surprised at how much the purses were did not know that they would get paid nearly as much as the ufc guys

I watched the show, it was fantastic.

I love what Zuffa are doing with the WEC and the FW and BW divisions, some incredibly exciting fighters in that division.

Yeah since its under Zuffa, and fighters like Faber, Curran, Filho, Pulver, and Alessio all fight on the same level as top contenders in the ufc. Fighters like Pulver and Alessio have also been with the ufc for quite a while right now. So these fighters are more than deserving to get the pay they received.
