lol black belts tap eachother out all the time... i really think the only way this will happen is bj by sub, maybe 1st rd, is quick but il call it, if it happens thatd be tight. either way it is definetely definetely not unheard of for one bjj bb to sub. another fairly quick. im not takin shit away from stevenson he's a vet to the sport by all means and i know almost all his fights but still i think although he has more experience than bj he wont be getting that signature guillatine or win for that matter on penn anytime heh

Hes definetly got a better chance then people are giveing him. BJ right now is probobly the most overranked fighter and doesnt deserve a title shot in my opinion. Florian, Guida, Griffin, Fisher, and Edgar, should all be ranked ahead of him right now.

They may be deserved to ahead of him in a title shot because they have won more fights. But in reality BJJ would dominate at 4 of these fighters, he is just on a different level right now.
And daywealldie, Black belts may submit eachother all the time in rolling matches, how often in mma do 2 black belts fight and one submits the other, i can't really even recall a time that happened. What were just trying to say is give Stevenson a lot more credit then a first round submission, i mean sure that could definently happen given BJ's skill set and his A level ground game. But Lets give him atleast til the second maybe third round before he gets submitted lol.

I do agree that BJ is very skilled. But I really think that BJ is way over hyped. I dont agree that he is on a different level as most people say. The only area that he beats most people at is his ground game, his wrestling and strikeing is average in my opinion.

Stevensons stength is his wrestling and his ground game. BJ is still better on the ground than Stevenson. I say BJ by rear naked choke 2nd round.

Yeah Stevenson's style is ver similar to Hughes, good wrestling and good bjj. And BJ style is very good at eliminating the wrestling and his bjj puts him on a different level. Like Robert said the fight will end by rear naked choke. I think it will only be a matter of time before Joe gives up his back, wether its the 1st 2nd 4th round who knows it will happen.

i really think people aren't giving stevenson much credit, but i think he has a great chance of winning...if he can just get through the first round. I don't think BJ's cardio can keep up if it goes to the 2nd-3rd round and i could see him getting gassed and making a simple mistake

I don't think its that were not giving Stevenson a chance at all. I just think, with the exception of wrestling, everything that Joe is good at, BJ is just that much better. Really, its hard to count BJ out against a lot of fighters, i mean theres only so many ways to beat him. Styles make fights, and this is just a bad style match up for Joe Daddy.
