sean sherk still champion?

i read on ufcdaily that he passed a lieditector test that said he didn't knowingly take steroids.to me that means they can't suspend him or take his title.thats like you toss a rock that hits a dog that jumps in someone house and bites a kid, it not his fault.

I'm a pretty big fan of Sean Sherk and I'd LOVE to see him fight BJ Penn so I'm hoping that the commission looks at that lie dictector test as something concrete or at least enough for doubt. I will say that Sean has said his whole carreer that he has never taken steriods, and the amount he was guilty of again was so small that it was a worthless amount. So all that added up and hopefully we still have a UFC champ in Sean Sherk.

If that be the case and all takes is a Lie Detector test than all altheletes would have to do is leave the trainers in charge of all their supplents and just have the trainer tell them its a Vitamin B shot. I dont care if he passed the test it was found in his system and that means guilty.

im almost posotive the a.c. wont over turn sherks suspension. like berz said theres many ways around a lie detector test. imo those tests mean nothing anyway. i am also a big fan of sherk so i will be crossing my fingers he stays champ and fights bj but i think those chances are very slim...

Yeah wether he past a lie detector test or not is really doesn't matter. The bottom line is that he did test positive for steroids and it very unlikley that the Athletic comission will let it slide. They haven't once yet and i dont think it will be any different in this case.

But i beleive the formal Hearing is at the end of this mouth where he will go before him and present his case. I really hope hes not stripped from his title, even though he did test positive, he tested positive in the smallest amount possible, which is why he has such a strong defense. But theres tons of match ups down the road that can be made if he is not stripped from his title.

the smallest amount is almost an understatement. he was doublt the normal males level. he had like 12mg's where most people have 6 or something like that. Royce gracie had like 60mg. It's dumb I actually believe that Sherk is innocent. Did you see his special on spike? he showed the amount of pills he takes daily, it was insane! but legally insane.

Yeah thats a good point MT4L, i was going to say that same exact thing but i didn't know what it was that they took(mg). But yeah he had the smallest dosage possible in his body when he tested positive. But who knows maybe he had some special detoux and it cleared it all besides the little amount that was left, who knows. But you just know the athletic comission will find some stupid ass reason to suspend him.

I mean come on they suspended Nick Diaz and called his fight a NC because he was apparently high during his fight.

What if he was at the end of his cycle and his hormone levels were almost back to normal. People dont have elevated levels for no reason. He may have timed it so he thought he would be clean by the time of the match.

thats the most likely truth behind this whole ordeal and imo sounds exactly like something the athletic commission will say come his appeal date. even if there are other stories that very well could be true im sure this is what they will bust him with.

Yeah thats also a really good point you make there, i was thinking the same thing but since i dont know much about roids i wouldn't know how much is still in your system at the end of a cycle.
