I think he's an excellent fighter. Tremendous skill and talent and he is extremely focused. I think the reason a lot of people hate him is because his intense focus comes across as cocky and arrogant sometimes. But I guess that's what him being motivated looks like.

He is just weird. I can say I like him more now that he has been brought down a peg. I remember after his first loss at the hands of Josh Koscheck (decision loss) he was shaking his head "no" as Bruce read the judges decisions. I thought that was just a jerk move. Now that e has lost convincingly to Fitch and Penn I think I can give him another chance.

Many people say this too. I don't hate him or love him, sometimes people overrate him against Kos, Penn, Fitch. Good fighter sucks he will never be champion but man he has heart, he took on such a beating by BJ.

I think its his cockyness. Being to cocky gets you no where in popularity it only worked for a couple of boxers but it wasnt there words that made them popular it was there skills in the ring.
