I have to choose
Silva
Gomi
Sakurai
Trigg (even though i don't like the guy at all, Misaki is overrated if you ask me.)
Nakamura

Where did you hear that Shogun would be fighting overeem?

as for Gomi not defending his title i can see where pride is coming from. Diaz does not deserve a title fight having never fought in pride before. I for one think they should have matched up diaz against someone else and have Gomi defend his pride championship before he suposedly jumps to the UFC to try and become LW champ.

I don't know, if this fight happens it's my most anticipated fight on the undercard (It's unbelievable that fighters of this calibur are even put on the undercard). And I wouldn't be so quick to put Allistar out he's got noodle reach.

It seems to me tht there not making the best match ups possible...like the NYE card all there doing is using there American fighters in each event just to mkae some more money and publicity...The match ups arent where they should be and for true mma fans it doesnt give us the show that we really want or atleast for me it doesnt.

I can understand what your saying for the Diaz match but other than that the card doesn't seem shallow in terms of matchups, Trigg and Misaki is a great matchup. Trigg just defeated Mayhem who IMO is a top 5 MW and Misaki just came off a win in the WW GP. Just because an american is on a Las Vegas pride card doesn't mean Prides trying to market american fighters, alot of these guys are straight up great fighters.

You might be right about the fights but i beleive they are trying to put Pride on the Map in the U.S. by marketing American fighters think about it on the NYE show they had coleman, randleman, baroni, barnett, henderson, lawler, and butterbean... All American fighters, wether or not it was on purpose that was just the vibe im getting.
