Fedor Vs Hunt *Spoiler*

So Fedor is human. Hunt was controlling that fight basicly from the word go. Im suprised that it took as long as it did for Fedor to escape the bottom. Hunt is a smart fighter and he used his weight perfectly to control Fedor. And hats off to him for escaping that arm bar at the start of the fight I thought it would of been over there and then. But Fedor did well to protect himself and as always pulls off the win. Just goes to show that no matter what predicament Fedor is thrown into he always comes back for the win. He truly is one step above the rest.

Thoughts and Feelings towards the fight?

Well, the Fedor that fought Hunt was about 65-70%

He had a broken toe, wasn't able to train properly for the fight. Yet the man still came through with the victory. He takes even more of my respect, the guy is just incredible.

Not to take anything away from Hunt, his performance was excellent, I think he's showing signs of actually becoming a good MMA fighter not just a great striker. How he escaped that armbar i'll never know.

yeah i think hunt is still improving and will some day be a phenomenal hw.. give it all to fedor though it was obvious he was going to win.

I was a little dissapointed, that it wasn't the usual Fedor fight involving flurry of brutal precise strikes.....
I was at a new years party where the PPV was available and i managed to convince many people to watch the Fedor fight, none of whom have heard of the PRIDE fighting.....so i was hoping for good stand-up action ending in a spectacular knock-out, hoping to turn them into PRIDE fans....
Fedor is the best fighter in the MMA, unfortunatelly this has been probably one of his least exciting fights i have seen to date....

regardless of all that fedor is still the best pound for pound fighter in the world and 9 out of 10 times he going to give you an exciting fight and that just didnt happen to be one of them. He will be back and better then ever.

i was also hoping for a stand up war. but it was still a pretty good fight. fedor is insane, i don't know how he got out of that key lock, any other fighter would have tapped for sure. but he got out of it and ended the fight with a key lock of his own. fedor is the man.
