Failure?

it is looking really bad for what i thought at one point to be the best mma organization of all. with a loss of their tv deal in japan, fairly low ppv ratings, the ufc buying out wfa and wec, and now the new loss of the 2nd best heavyweight in the world; pride grand prix open weight champion mirko crocop, the future of prides organization looks to be at its knees. anybody know prides financial status, why DSE is having so much trouble marketting pride in the U.S. or the future for pride at this point?

i don't know much about the financial end of the pride organization, but i do know they have some bad ass fighters. it a shame to see them struggle for success. they should be easily making major figures. i think if pride was done more in english, more people in the u.s. and canada would watch it. they also need to promote their fighters more, get their names out there, let people know who they are( and how to pronounce their names!!).

The UFC went through the same thing for awhile there, no PPV deal and the UFC name nearly went tits up. Now look at them. Not saying that pride will pull through but if they do i wont be surprised. So other billionaire will realize how much money there is to be made off the sport and get it going. I hope Pride doesn't sell out.
