He greased up with body lotion and potentially had brass knuckles under his gloves. Makes me lose all respect for him as a fighter and i will no longer root for him.

Akiyama has a horrible reputation in Japan, but I for one am a huge fan.

It was a shame in his last fight. He hurt Misaki bad and I guarentee if that was Akiyama the fight would have been stopped. Then he gets soccer kicked (Yes it was a soccer kick which was illegal) and loses the fight. Now if he had won by the same way what would the fall out have been again? He'd have probably been banned again. The guy just can't win.

i dont think those were brass knuckles no matter what anyone says iv held real competition gloves and it would be almost impossible to shove brass knuckles in them and fight without breaking your hand. let alone be noticed for having a fist twice normal size/ anyhow i like akiyama it would be nice to see him in the UFC
