Just listen to yourself you criticize what you have no knowledge of, unethusiastic crowd?, those fans are some of the most educated fans to watch the sport, if you noticed in all pride events, if one fighter is in guard and passes the fans start to cheer, while uneducted ufc fans(like yourself), have no idea whats going on, and they start to hollar and go wild if a punch connects. Japanese fans are respectful to the sport and its fighters, not like drunk ufc fans who boo and yell at nothing.
Dude, I do the same thing when fighters pass guard, especially when that isn't something they are entirely skilled at doing.

Sherk vs. Franca is one of the best performances I've ever seen, and I'm prolly the only one that thought of the fight so high. I know MMA you fucking idiot, and I hate the "fans" that attend UFC events cuz they boo at everything, I know all about Japanese being respectful, but what I was saying is that it adds to the boredom when the crowd isn't cheering.

LOL @ Matt E always trying to twist my words. I never said PRIDE was trash and blah, I said 10 minutes CAN be boring, so why not make it 5 to force action. THAT'S ALL. LOL. you basically tried to twist my words around and act like I hate PRIDE when in fact I appreciate everything they've done. they worked their ass off just like other org. do, to put on a great show.

so shove it, dickhead.

What does the crowd have to do with anything, how does that add excitement, the excitement should be in the sport itself not from how the fans react.

yes, i miss pride.i miss everything about it and if the ufc were gone i'd say the same thing.but now that pride is gone i have a feeling that aow will fill the void.i like aow because it has the old pride rules.with pride gone it cuts down on my mma intake and i do not like that at all.

The UFC has basically eliminated it's competition by buying Pride....i absolutelly loved Pride and the format it was in....i hope that one day Pride can return to Japan in the same format...BTW i don't understand why Pride lost TV ratings in their homeland Japan.....
I suspect we will never know the complete story behing Pride's fall, but i suspect faul-play of some sort....
