Does anyone remember back about 2 years ago or so when WWE had a type of small reality show where they were looking for the next WWE Superstar, and had a bunch of contestants?

One of them was an MMA fighter (why he wanted to join WWE, you've got me...). He always kicked everyone elses asses in all the challanges and everyone was always afraid when they got paired up to wrestle him.

I remember one time Kurt Angle fought all of them one by one, in actual real wrestling in the ring. Then MMA Guy challenged Kurt, and the look on Kurts face was priceless because he was smiling but you could tell he was apprehensive. He accepted though (how could he not?) and Kurt won, but it was a good bit of wrestling (perhaps the first real wrestling in WWE ever?) and Kurt didn't win easily :P

Anyhowwww... I don't follow WWE but at the time I'd watch maybe one WWE episode every few months or so, so I don't remember the MMA contestant's name.

But I'm curious now - anybody know it? I'm just curious if that MMA kid continued with MMA and is still fighting. I know he fought in the UFC before.. but I think it was like a preliminary one not televised..

I don't follow WWE much, but my only reasoning for the MMA fighter wanting to join was because it's an easy way to fame and money, and with his experience, why not?

It's a joke though, and I totally despite WWE.

Ahhh, I remember watching this show. But I think it was before I was really into MMA because I don't remember it being that big of a deal.

Do you know the name of the "MMA Kid"? Maybe I can help find some out then...
