As mentioned in another thread, I'm trained in 4 styles, but, I am no expert in all of them. I like to be a well rounded fighter (especially stand up) and I'm trying my best to do it all. I like to exploit my strength and use it to my advantage.

In my opinion, its good to mix it up and learn as much as you can. That way, you know a little bit about everything so you don't get caught off guard. But with all the available styles, its difficult just in case you pass by something/someone that is unorthodox.

Hapkido
JuJitsu (Atemi)
Kickboxing
Kyo-Kushin-Kai Karate-do

A varied yet well rounded mix I'd say. The most enjoyable being JuJitsu.

I am currently training in...

Hapkido
Karate
BJJ
and Judo

And I love every single one of them. I have a strong base and a pretty decent portfolio of moves, so I'm happy with it. I plan on looking into capoeira though as soon as I can find a competent teacher.

My main training was karate but I also studied at some point:

Kick Boxing
Judo
Tai kwan do
Ju Jitsu

I am currently not studying any at the moment but will probably take a look at kung fu at some point.

Judo
Capoeira
Thai Boxing

Not claiming to be a master of any of these but I do have a sound footing in each.

I hold a 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, 1st degree black belt in Shorin Ryu karate, and I have recently (within a couple months) been taking classes on Uechi Ryu.

I love each and every art for different reasons, but when it comes down to it I am a Tae Kwon Do martial artist at heart. This doesn't mean any of the posts that I make, on this forum or any where else, are biased or single minded.
