If I could be an expert at absolutely any martial arts, it's probably be Capoeira.

I've been looking into it recently, and its just such a fluid and smooth style that it almost looks as if they are just dancing (which is basically what it is). It's got beautiful technique, and it looks VERY dangerous and powerful.

Other then that, I'd love to be trained in some sort of Kung Fu. I have high respect for Kung Fu artists, and each style of kung fu is amazing. I have a friend who's studying Shaolin, and it such a great art. Great blend of power and finesse with beauty and elegance. Brilliant.

Thats cool. I too would also love to get to train in some Capoeira. But were I live is very limited to mostly karate schools.

What style kung fu would you want to study?

Tae Kwon Do has really appealed to me from a very young age, so why not ITF TKD or WTF TKD

Thats cool that you like TKD. Seems like it would be a little easier to find a good school. I know some of the more rare arts are few and far between in a lot of areas.

To become more supple and more flashy - TKD

To become quicker and more aware - Wing Chun

To become tougher - Muay Thai

Hmmm

As my background is mainly Karate I think I would like to learn from a TRUE master. I know there are m ore effective martial arts out there but Karate is part of me and thats what I would go for.

I would also like to study some type of Kung Fu. I'm not a big fan of my Hapkido or Karate, and I would much prefer Kung Fu - only problem is I can't find a decent teacher or school around here.

Just a bunch of Americans trying to cash in on the whole "self defense" craze.

Steven Segal...the man kills people so ruthlessly that it's humiliating to them. Even though it's just acting...I'm pretty sure he could teach me a few sweet moves (and how to grow a bitchin pony tail)

LOL Why would you want a pony tail? I think I would have to train with Bruce Lee - see if he could teach me the way of the dragon
