Default How much does training with a 'name' cost?

How much does it cost to train with a professional or semi-professional (semi-professional being one who isn't world famous but has fought in a number of smaller events or whatnot)?

I'm not sure to be honest, and I'm pretty positive that each "professional" will pick and choose his apprentice.

Some of the semi-professionals may charge a decent amount, but it should be affordable nevertheless. I don't know of any pros around in my area, so I couldn't tell ya. I couldn't imagine it being more then $100 an hour though.

Actually Bryan, it can be much more than $100.00 USD an hour by world famous professionals. I believe Bruce Lee was charging up to $300.00 USD an hour.

LOL, that's a bargain though. I'd gladly save up and pay a few grand to get even just a few hours training with Bruce Lee.. just to say I trained with Bruce Lee :P

I'd save up $300.00 an hour for Bruce Lee also Anyways, Matt, what I think Bryan was talking about were "semi-professionals".

Obviously, world class professionals will definitely charge much more then $100.00 an hour.

Tyler, have you found one?

Yea, Rogue's right. What I meant was a semi-professional, one who's tried, but failed, but knows enough to teach.

wow, $300 isn't really that much to get training from Bruce Lee. But i guess being trained by semi-(professionals) is worth your money because they know what it's all about.

Wow......
Seems cheap.
You need to take inflation into account though!

I wouldn't doubt that it'd cost nearly 4 figures to get regular training with a big name. These guys are probably training celebs or millionaires. They don't have time to waste on individuals like you and I.
