I tried Tae-bo once, and I do agree it is indeed a very big workout. I wonder if I still have those videos laying around anywhere.

I'd recommend real life classes over videos, they're more fun to do and they do give the better workout. Also if you do something wrong, the instructor will tell you this, no video can do this.

Not everyone can afford real life classes, or are near gyms or dojos. Not very many people have partners either. I think that if thats the case, video tutorials are definitely the only way to go.

I would agree, but I wouldn't count on video tutorials. Perhaps you'll use them to get started and such, but they can't prepare you like real life classes can. But obviously, videos will be better than books in this case. Try to save up some money for the classes, they're well worth it if this is something you want to invest in.

I've never bought a video before. But as easyG said, it's probably better than a book. People are more likely to be visual learners, I think.

I find that my biggest issue with videos is the lack of motivation.

They just did have that same draw I find a class does.

i have downloaded a couple of tutorial videos but the best way is to do it rather than watch it so you will need someone to practice on/with!

they are enjoyable to watch though
