Default Speed bag?

Does anyone use a speed bag? I remember having some trouble when I was put in front of one, but a friend told me it just takes some getting used to, and then you'll be able to do it.

Is it worth the money? Does it really help and improve speed like it is supposed to?

I've got one, and yes...it improves your speed and, accuracy, timing, everything...tremendously. I love it.

You want to spend some money on it though. Don't get yourself a cheap one. If you do, it can break, or it won't function properly, and you'll only be depriving yourself. Now I'm not telling you to go out and spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars, but get one thats a little above average. Don't go after the cheapest one you see.

I'd pick one up. It really helps if you care about your speed and stand up technique. I'd recommend it to you if you need to improve on some things.

It is hard when you first start, but after a while, you get the hang of it, and you will start to see some slight improvements, if not major.

I'd recommend getting one as well, i think it improves your speed and accuracy but also your general physical condition.

I just picked one up. Nothing fancy. Been hitting it a little bit, I just installed it the other day. It's not bad, but its nothing fancy, and I'm still trying to get used to it.

Anyone got any tips for me?

A friend of mine had one. It's really nice. I use to go there all the time to use it. It was tough at first because I didn't know it was that fast. But just adjust to it and you'll be enjoying in no time.

I tried one of these speed bags once. It hurt my hand. So, I quit. But if you can do it, it's cool. I give up too easily.
