Monson is a really short guy for heavyweight and Sylvia's got noodle arms for jabs, and if Monson stands up with Sylvia which he won't cause he'll end up pulling off a Babalu. But when Monson shoots in I see Sylvia knocking him out with an uppercut 2nd round.

Keep in mind, Monson is about twice the size of Arlovski. Arlovski tried to stand with Sylvia, Monson definately won't.

Cool

nahhhhhhhhh..i dont see monson....taking SILVA>>.getting tooken down... the snowman going to get melted, the maniac has alot of reach and alot of takedown defense...hes going to hurtem...they dont have any good heavy weights in the UFC....i think BRANDON VERA good...but he looks alil light... he might be better at 205lbs...but as far as any heavyweights to fight SILVA no one...is up to his level...hes huge and has alot of talent.....I think ARLOVSKI was better suited to beat him...but that fell threw....UFC needs alot of searching...for some big boys out there.......

Having long legs, long limbs can work against you from a grappling standpoint.
I'm a guy thats got tree trunk legs and it has almost never worked for me in a grappling or sprawl situation.

long legs work when you have an apponent a foot smaller than you hes going to be able to see every shoot coming and shoot right down, I call it He wont be able to take sylvia down once first round KO

i'm not a sylvia fan, but i think he takes this fight easily. i would like to see monson knock his ass out though. it would really mix up the heavyweight division

200 on Sylvia. I just don't see Monson being able to deal with Tim on the feet or get him down. Sylvia by KO.

500 on sylvia, i would like to see monson pull of the victory even though its very unlikley to happen i see monson shooting and sylvia getting the (T)KO early in the first maybe second roun....

and im not clear on this betting thing if my fighter wins the fight, do i win back my money plus the odds i bet on?

Yes sir. If Sylvia wins you will get your 500 back and win 200 since he is the favorite at 2/5.

Pretty boring fight, only one good round. Sylvia may be smart by being so careful but he's not going to make many fans happy fighting like he has in his last 2 fights. Boring! He could've taken it to Monson. Especially after the 3rd round and he saw that he could escape Monson's submission attempts. He could've finished the fight early with a little more aggression.
