Default Skipping?

OK so how many of you guys jump rope?

I recently started around 2-3 months ago - it took me about a month and a half to be able to do it right but now Im really noticing the benefits of it. I do feel a bt like a girl doing it but the benefits far outweigh that

I don't jump rope. But I know many people who do speed ropes, and they are amazing to watch. I've just never been a fan of the jump rope - and I'm still under the impression that its a bit feminine - no matter how tough someone looks doing it.

Jumping rope is a very good workout, it burns fat quickly and it gets your ankles strengthened.

Yea, jumping rope is a great cardio workout (also a break for your arms) and it develops very good agility and timing/rhythm.

Never underestimate the benefits of skipping I try to fit in at least 20 mins of skipping in every cardio session - I prefer it more than running.

Its way more effective then running, it has the same benefits and more. I really noticed an increase in my agility and being able to move around quickly.

Sounds like a good way to burn some fat tissue, I'll throw this in my workout once I get everything set up.

I love jumping rope, when you're done it actually feels like you'be had an amazing workout. Like everyone says though, at first you feel a little fruity...

I haven't really done any jump roping, but I've seen some really fit people do this, and do it very fast. It's impressive and it looks like a hell of a work out.

It just isn't something that appeals to me.
