I jump rope at my boxing gym. My friends and I will usually do 3 three minute rounds resting just like actual rounds between them.

I used to skip all the time when i was in boxing, it helps your cardio alot and vastly improves speed and footwork.

I used to jump rope alot, not so much anymore because I gave myself anterior shin splints doing so. It's good cardio, and endurance workout. I don't understand why so many people think it's for fairies, most fellas don't have a notion how to jump rope.

A good workout is 5 min steady, 5 min as fast as you can. X3. (changing rythms and styles throughout).
