Default Weighted Vests

Has anyone here try using weight vest during sparring. They come 20-40 lbs.
Most of us use the 20 pounds during some sparring sessions. We use them to help our speed and cardio. You'd be suprised how fast you are after wearing them for a while.

Good for doing sprints also.

If you haven't tried it, give it a shot.

No I don't use them but I would LOVE to. Any suggestions where to get some? I would love to add this to my training.

They have them at Dicks Sporting Goods or Modells...They fit good (very adjustable). They could be pretty pricey. The cheapest we found them was about $70.

You can find them online, but shipping adds up because of the weight.

It's a work out.

Great idea, thanks! I'm sure I'd benefit from a 20 lb vest. I carried my daughter in a snugli while I walked until she was 25 lbs and too big to fit in the darn thing.

Rubybettle,

You'll love it. You'll get use to it fast and see a big improvement in your movement and your cardio. You just have to stick with it.
