Default Cardio

hey guys, just a question broaden my cardio workout. Skipping is out of the question because my ceiling is too low where i workout. I do use a bike now and then but it's pretty old and makes loud clicking sounds.. any other ideas for a good cardio workout? Also, when im on the bike i find myself not breathing heavily at all like it's a breeze, and when i crank up the tension i find my legs burning but i still don't feel like it's a cardiovascular exercise.. any ideas why?

Running always works.

I ride a bike (Not machine) a fair bit and I do get out of breath, if you have a mountain bike just go on long ass bike rides up hills and stuff it does take a lot out of you. Take a look through the forums and different threads, theres some really good conditioning tips.
