How about a fighter database? I'm not talking about the forum that we currently already have, but something like Sherdog. I know Sherdog is a bad example, but Sherdog has a "shlew" of information.

I would be willing to start, but I really don't know code all that well. I'll find information, when needed.

When I created MMAForums, my business plan for the development of the site was to keep it as focused on MMA discussion as possible in a good and friendly community.

I specifically decided not to try and build a lot of other areas to the site... I believe Sherdog does a good job already and I don't see how trying to populate an up-to-date fighter database would benefit us more than it would in trying to keep it up to date and fill all the old data..

But I'm definitely open to suggestions. Right now though I think we need to focus on getting more members and posts though before we think to other areas!

I believe member quality is more important than member quantity. The members on this site are more respectful than any other MMA forum ive been on (with the exception of one person).

I like the fight bookie idea, and a news section would be nice, however most members of this site post news when they hear it, so it's not really necessary. A merchandise section would be nice though. I know its easier said than done, but i like the way htis site is run and if it were possible to purchase MMA DVD's and other merchandise from here i probably would.

I can deal with merchandise, but I don't think I would sport MMAForums.net, as the only logo displayed.
