if you're into MMA, you should really practice Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, the big advantage having the knowledge about it is that you can improvise during fight and that it has alot of freedom.
Yep, this is why it's one of the most common art forms used as a base. A lot of fighters who are into tackles, submissions, and wrestling really learn BJJ and master it so that they can form their own unique style around it.
^^^^^^^^^ for tournaments and for gi theres a lot more techniques you can use with it and you cant go up in belts if you train no gi
like many people have been sayin in jiu jitsu u can freestyle alot the techniques are easy to learn but applying them during competition or rolling is hard and during jiujitsu is like playing chess but in a physical way but i highly recommend taking jiu jitsu you need to use it if you want to be a at least a decent mma fighter and it is very fun and enjoyable
I have been wrestling for about 6 years and i just started bjj and mua thai and it seems really good ive been working out with team link. Im planning on getting good at bjj because i went to a naga tournament and i was taking people down but i couldnt finish it with a submission. Also i have alot of time to get good at it before my first fight because im 14 lol.
