In a real life situation, I would agree with you. However, we are talking organized matches in which, many are matched by their weight class.
There is no excuse for a person to use pressure points on someone the same size as him. Its wrong in my opinion because there is no way around it, and there is no real way to defend against it. It's a cheap shot.
