Has anyone ever purchased a DVD or a video that helps you train, or show you techniques? I'm considering getting a training DVD for BJJ. But BJJ seems to be complicated and complex, and seems to be something that is better learned in person, then it is by myself, or through a video.

I am considering doing this with a friend. He wants to get into it, and I want to learn more, so I guess it'd be beneficial to the both of us. That way, we have eachother to practice on, but he's inexperienced and I'm afraid he'll do something wrong and snap my arm...

Has anyone ever bought a DVD? I just want to know if its worth the $50.00 or so that a bulk of the videos charge, and whether or not its' actually helped you...

Any recommendations also?
