Fitch is a big, big welterweight, is tough as hell, good sub defense, well-rounded, etc. But in my opinion everything that he is good at GSP is better at.

Fitch has great wrestling and wrestling credentials, but GSP is a MUCH better MMA wrestler and overall grappler. I really see Fitch as a less explosive, less athletic version of Kos, so I don't see his wrestling saving him in this fight. Fitch can sub a guy from his back but if GSP isn't getting subbed by Penn or Serra I doubt Fitch is going to do it.

Fitch is a solid fighter (one of my favorites actually) and I'm not completely counting him out, but I think GSP should be able to control the fight standing or on the mat, and Fitch just doesn't have any one skill that really outshines GSP.

GSP by decision.
