Are there any Steriods or enhancers that are legal in Japan that are illegal here? When I worked for the Post Office there were certian Energy drinks in Japan that couldn't even be shipped into the US because of some of the shit in them.
But honestly Pride, as an organization not talking about it's fighters, seems more like a cesspool the more information that comes out about it. Paying legit fighters extra if they lose by KO, apparently not having a steriods policy (but Japan's doping policies might not be as harsh as ours.)
But there are a lot of other variables too... Cro Cop is getting old and was over confident in the Gonzaga fight. And I'm sorry but you could listen to Coutre and see what Gonzaga did, people have him figured out and he failed to adjust. Rampage said his training over in Japan was a joke compared to what he's doing back here but Cro Cop refused to train in a cage until he got embarassed.
And with the exception of Ramage and a few others most of the Pride imports got thrown to the Sharks immediately... Hendo's first fight was against Rampage and his second fight is gonna be another title match, Cro Cop got 2 very hard first fights. Shogun's first fight is against a fighter most people had as being overwhelmed but Coutre had Griffen pegged as the winner if you listened the the prefight talk. Wandi's first fight is gonna be against chuck.
There are a lot of reasons why Pride fighters are or aren't winning you just have to step back and look at them all.
